Overview
Luxor is only about four hours from Hurghada, so you spend more time exploring and less time on the road. On the East Bank you walk through Karnak, the largest temple complex in the world, with its avenue of rams and the Great Hypostyle Hall.
A boat takes you across the Nile to the West Bank, where you enter three royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings, visit the cliff temple of Queen Hatshepsut and stop at the giant Colossi of Memnon. An Egyptologist guide brings every stone to life.
